Prof. Boros Lászó M.D.: Covid-19 pandemic as the roller coasters of science, economics and politics
Positive strand ribonucleic acid (RNA) viruses of the Coronaviridae family have been known to humans for over 45 years. They are responsible for causing about 15% of all upper respiratory complaints, characteristic of the common cold, of all late winter flu epidemics. In 2020 corona viruses re-appeared as new entities with clinical presentation consistent with the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) with respiratory failures that literally disrupted all social and economical networks of developed nations, in particular those located on the the western hemisphere, with continued lock down measures in order to contain its spread among aging populations, as well as among individuals with comorbidities such as diabetes, obesity and/or high blood pressure. However, continued pandemiological assessments of Covid-19 indicate that the models and preventive measures of the pandemic were way overblown and mostly unnecessary. It is now clear that lockdown measures and the disruption of social life affecting mass populations with unemployment were more damaging to societies than the virus itself. This talk covers scientific grounds pertaining to diagnostic, therapeutic and prevention related recommendations as a critical review of their efficiencies and necessities for broader populations as future narratives concerning Covid-19. The lecture also summarizes the most relevant international outcomes of scientific, socio-economical and political impacts of the pandemic.

Based on the analysis of epidemiological indicators we compare the appearance-, progression- and after effect of flu-like diseases. We determine the chance of re-appearance based on the analysis of similar corona virus diseases. Based on the consequence of this analysis finally we define the exact outcome of the current virus situation.

Deep inside everybody has a fear in their guts because there is always something to be afraid of, there is always some external threat. Building on the coronavirus situation exploiting this psychologocial state the mainstream media generated a global panic with its mantra-like news most of which turned out to be out of touch with reality. Both the horrifying images and the exaggerated numbers. From this a moronic social state of mind was created based on division from which the recovery will take a very long time. It is an important task for us to dissolve fear and support dialogue and trust between people.
