The COVID act in the soap opera of targeted genomic medicine
Medical genomics research over the past three decades has not yielded significant results in medicine, most notably in the field of oncology.
In addition to the ineffectiveness of genetic interventions, serious complications and unpredictable long-term consequences may arise from modes of action or mechanisms whose further study foreshadows the public health implications of genomic vaccines.
This lecture will shed light on key potential consequences and their therapeutic implications from the perspective of translational medicine, based on research findings and case reports in the peer-reviewed medical literature.
